Genesys empowers organizations to deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a Senior Account Director, Enterprise, you will develop and implement comprehensive account plans to drive revenue growth for Genesys' Enterprise segment. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends to uncover opportunities for Genesys to deliver value. You will act as a strategic advisor, influencer, and coordinator to ensure the right teams are aligned to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Effective coordination with Business Partners is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and exceed revenue, customer growth, and sales expense goals.
  • Manage forecasts, pipelines, and predictability for revenue achievement.
  • Oversee the sales life-cycle of transactions to ensure visibility and predictability of the lead-to-close process.
  • Ensure the highest levels of professionalism and represent Genesys positively to employees, customers, partners, and shareholders.
  • Provide timely and positive resolution of escalated sales-related issues.
  • Communicate with key customers, business partners, and executives on significant issues and accomplishments.
  • Sell and promote Genesys products to customers, negotiating price, concessions, and terms and conditions of the sale.
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
  • Build relationships with key players in customer accounts and Business Partners.
  • Penetrate customer accounts as needed or in coordination with Business Partners at all levels and subsidiaries.
  • Become a trusted advisor on Genesys products/solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue, generating and achieving monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicting revenue on a monthly basis.
  • Manage escalations and conduct weekly progress meetings with the sales team.
  • Assist in developing short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Regularly interact with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
  • Influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the technology industry, with a focus on SaaS platforms and CX.
  • Leadership skills to lead a sales engagement.
  • Results-oriented achiever with a high energy level, willing to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated track record in software sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including producing materials, delivering presentations, and general education.
  • Ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.
  • Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimal supervision, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
