Strategic HR Business Partner for Technology Teams

We are seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to join our technology team at Zubale. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced organization that is revolutionizing eCommerce in Latin America.
About ZubaleZubale is a leading technology company that partners with retailers to help them succeed in eCommerce. Our core products include Flexifleet, Ecommerce Fulfillment Software, and Client Engagement Suite Software.
We have grown rapidly over the past 4 years, operating in six countries and completing over 30 million jobs on our platform. With 100+ customers and thousands of freelancers, we're transforming the eCommerce industry.
About the RoleThis is a mid-senior level position that reports to the Director of People. As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with technology leaders to execute the HR vision and contribute to scaling the company.
- Talent Management: Partner with leaders in engineering, software, sales, and product to ensure we attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Hiring Process: Drive a scalable and efficient hiring process tailored to the needs of our technology teams, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
- Onboarding Excellence: Ensure a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires, fostering alignment with our mission and culture from day one.
- Employee Engagement: Implement surveys, analyze feedback, and develop actionable plans to enhance engagement and address any gaps.
- Rewards and Incentives: Partner with leadership to ensure competitive compensation and incentive structures that align with industry standards, and help retain top talent.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze employee data and trends to provide insights and recommendations that align with organizational objectives.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant local laws and regulations.
- Strategic HR Leadership: Work with senior leadership to define and implement HR strategies that align with company goals, ensuring smooth growth in technology teams.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters including counseling, conflict resolution, and career development discussions, maintaining a positive and professional approach.
- Internal Events: Plan and execute internal events that foster team building, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture for technology teams.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance review programs tailored to technology roles, ensuring alignment with team and company goals.
- Training and Development: Support the design and implementation of training programs that enhance skills and capabilities for technology teams.
- Career Growth and Succession Planning: Collaborate with leadership to create career development paths and succession plans for high-potential employees.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Prior experience in HR or People Operations with a focus on technology functions (engineering, software, sales, and product).
- A strong understanding of startup or high-growth company environments and the ability to navigate complex and evolving situations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance high-priority requests with long-term projects.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop actionable plans.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Agile and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5+ years of experience in HR functions, ideally in technology or engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus).
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
