About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to join our team in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth across various channels, including dealers, retailers, distributors, ecommerce, and B2B sales. You will lead a high-performing team and work closely with associates and team leaders to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Customer Satisfaction and Sales Growth: Enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales targets, and manage staff effectively.
  • Develop Business Strategies: Develop strategies to expand revenue, optimize profitability, and grow existing accounts.
  • Lead the Team: Lead the team with innovative ideas, calendar planning, and execution of sales efforts.
  • Meet Sales Goals: Meet sales targets by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to team members.
  • Prepare Sales Forecasts: Prepare and maintain monthly sales forecasts for all fitness and outdoors products.
  • Monitor Market Trends: Monitor market trends to modify pricing and determine best product range.
  • Ensure High Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and relationships.
  • Report on Market Trends: Report on retail/buying trends, customer needs, profits, and propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
  • Supervise Team Members: Directly supervise various levels of team members/team leaders by setting the tone for the team environment and providing individualized coaching, training, and mentoring.
  • Hire and Evaluate Performance: Participate in recruiting activities, interview, hire, train, and evaluate performance for the team to assess training needs/build career paths.
  • Address Issues: Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, or Business Administration AND a minimum of 5 years leadership and/or management experience working as retail manager, sales manager or related experience.
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and POS systems.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to provide demonstrated results by meeting and/or exceeding sales goals in positions similar to this role.
  • Must possess experience in technology, sports, or outdoors marketplace.
  • Must provide demonstrated evidence of proven track record of sales successes.
  • Must be positive, detail-oriented, organized, team-oriented, and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and lead in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with excellent time management skills.
