Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team and help drive growth in our Institutional business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing market share, achieving new business sales targets, and ensuring profitable growth through effective pricing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Institutional markets, including Health and Aged Care, Hospitality, Government facilities, Private Schools, Local Government, FSR (chain business), and Restaurants.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, providing tailored solutions to meet their cleaning and sanitation needs.
- Conduct technical surveys to ensure targeted Ecolab programs are implemented effectively.
- Prepare and present presentations to convey the Ecolab value proposition and secure new business.
- Construct basic customer rollout plans to ensure seamless execution.
- Work collaboratively with the field team and Regional/State sales team to achieve desired sales outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of outside sales experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- No Immigration Sponsorship available
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales development experience within the Institutional market sectors
- A solid understanding of Ecolab products, services, and systems, with a focus on their application in the Institutional markets
- Results-oriented, with a strong track record in business-to-business selling roles
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a passion to deliver and exceed client expectations
