The Sales Specialist role is a key position within ABB Chile's Distribution Solutions division, reporting to the Sales Manager. This dynamic role involves driving sales growth, revenue, and customer satisfaction across designated markets and divisions.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for expanding product/system/service sales in assigned markets, aligning with divisional strategies. Your daily objectives will include achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities, showcasing your expertise in the field.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Account Management: Foster strong relationships with accounts and integration channels in the market, ensuring seamless interactions.
  2. Sales Presentations: Prepare engaging equipment, business model, and product presentations to effectively communicate value propositions.
  3. Sales Strategy Implementation: Design and implement tailored sales strategies for assigned accounts, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  4. New Business Opportunities: Identify and develop innovative sales opportunities within the market, expanding our customer base.
  5. Business Projections: Develop accurate business projections for assigned accounts, informing strategic decisions.
  6. Business Planning: Create comprehensive business plans for assigned channels, outlining strategies for success.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical equipment sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Market Analysis and Financial Statements: Strong understanding of market analysis and financial statements, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the mining, distribution, utilities, and O&M segments, as well as experience in sales within these areas.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (intermediate level or higher) and fluency in Spanish, enabling seamless communication across languages.
