As a Field Sales Executive – Air Freight at DB Schenker, you will be responsible for promoting and selling all Air Freight services, driving business growth through effective sales efforts on the ground. You will offer excellence in service, monitor and investigate the market to acquire new businesses, and enter opportunities into the CRM system for subsequent monitoring and growth review.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and identify potential clients using electronic platforms and market intelligence.
- Evaluate and classify prospective accounts with market information and advice from the Finance department.
- Visit existing clients and new prospects monthly to explore business opportunities, extract relevant data, and implement possible improvements.
- Enter and maintain client data in the CRM platform and other defined systems.
- Obtain costs through the use of TANGO and TOPS systems or contact with Pricing units.
- Generate quotes and send them to clients using established platforms.
- Resolve situations by telephone and escalate to area supervisors.
- Maintain contact with clients and prospects via telephone or email.
- Meet KPIs required by the company, including visits, quotes, opportunities, GP, volume, and revenue.
- Request client creation and generate credit requests in a timely manner.
- Deliver information to operations departments and create BOI or SOP.
- Plan executive visits to clients.
- Sell all product services, dedicating exclusively to the Land product.
- Enter relevant data into CRM and manage the database.
- Provide feedback on process improvements and stay updated on new market trends.
- Share information with colleagues to increase effectiveness.
- Support marketing campaigns by visiting target customers.
- Form professional relationships with decision-makers.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Support, Indoor Sales Executive & Outdoor Sales Executive.
- Highly proficient in verbal and written English.
- University professional in Eng. at Comex. - Marketing Engineer, Administration and/or Commercial Engineering Career.
- Knowledge of exports and imports (Air Freight).
- Knowledge in quotes (Pricing).
- Knowledge of the market and competence in the field and client portfolio.
