Head of Startup Business Development LATAM

AWS is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the LATAM Startup Business Development team. This role requires extensive experience with startups and/or the startup ecosystem(s), business acumen, and significant technology-related business development and/or sales experience.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience building and leading diverse teams, delivering results through influencing related teams and functions, and driving customer acquisition. A strong track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals, as well as experience as a public speaker, is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute strategies to drive adoption of AWS services in startup customers.
- Lead a high performing, diverse team across Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Colombia.
- Collaborate and partner with other functions (sales, marketing, solutions architects) to execute plans and programs.
- Be the key spokesperson to share AWS value proposition in the LATAM startup ecosystem.
About the Team:
The Startup Business Development team is responsible for managing the relationships with LATAM's top Venture Capital Firms, Accelerators, and Incubators. They also oversee at scale motions to drive adoption of AWS services with the long tail of customers in LATAM.
