Leading Startup Business Development in LATAM

About the Role:
Ambitious and seasoned professional sought to lead our LATAM Startup Business Development team, driving adoption of AWS services with top startups in Latin America. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, combined with senior management experience and creative problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase AWS adoption among startups in LATAM.
- Lead a high-performing team across Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Colombia.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, solutions architects) to drive business growth.
- Represent AWS in the LATAM startup ecosystem as a presenter at events and meetings.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience working with startups and the startup ecosystem.
- Senior management experience leading diverse teams.
- Strong business acumen, with ability to identify and support startups with strong potential for success.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
