The Business Development Director will be responsible for guarantee the financial and operational viability of energy renewable greenfield projects, planning and developing all the phases until the start of construction of wind, hydro and solar projects through the required and appropriate technologies. Ensure that all projects must developed to the corporate governance model, following regulatory aspects, local procedures and legislation related to operation, safety, security and environment.

The Business Development Director will be responsible for:

- Identify and develop business cases for renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar).
- Manage feasibility studies and analyse project viability to maximize results.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project feasibility.
- Oversee environmental compliance, obtain necessary licenses, and manage land acquisitions.
- Implement corporate engineering strategies and ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Construction area to execute approved projects and manage contracts with consultants, suppliers, and partners.

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for a Business Development Director with the right mindset and skills to help our team, that includes:

- An advanced degree in Engineering, complemented by a master's degree or MBA.
- A minimum of 10 years of extensive experience leading Business Development areas within the Renewable Energy sector, with a particular focus on Solar and Wind technologies.
- A proven track record of successfully developing renewable energy projects from early phases through to principal investment decision.
- In-depth knowledge of the electrical market, including current trends, future projections, and potential disruptions. This expertise is vital for making informed strategic decisions that will shape the future of our organization.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations in the renewable energy sector.
