**About this opportunity**
Reporting to the Business Development Director LATAM, also having a dotted line to the CALA Sales Director through frequent communications and interaction, holds a latam regional portfolio for Align Technology working with DSO Accounts across region. The incumbent of this position drives growth and builds, with the support of Area Sales Manager´s team, strong business foundation for long term business. He/she is accountable for achieving Align´s commercial objectives in the country guaranteeing effective direction of assigned commercial resources, and seamless collaboration within the organization and / or with external parties. This person brings key geographic perspective to the commercial team and participates in the formulation of approaches for the region
**In this role, you will**
- Build and Manage current and new relationships with all large and mid-dental business units / chain to maximize Align Technology products potential.
- Achievement of quarterly and yearly regional sales target.
- Coach, manage, provide field coaching, develop and maintain a high-performing team to continuously execute on strategy and the removal of obstacles to success.
- In conjunction with marketing and key executive management, initiate and maintain relationships with all important customers
- Lead the communication and coordination for all aspects of the customer’s business including supply/demand, logistics, customer service, product promotion, pricing and contracts, and financial transactions.
- Work closely with business partners in Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Accounting, R&D, Legal, and logistics to ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative internal relationships across key cross-functional business units. Ensure business unit leadership is involved and educated on the account strategy and regularly meets with internal stakeholders to provide updates/status on account status.
- Integrate with key executives and other decision-making personnel to align account opportunities and business objectives with Align’s business objectives.
- Direct customer initiatives and special projects.
- Drive key Align business objectives and lead organizational change.
- Develop, maintain, and deploy reporting tools and metrics to ensure transparent views of the current activity state, progress against plan, and business impacts of the function’s operations. Utilize metrics, internal/external environmental and business intelligence to provide the early identification of new business opportunities.
- As a business development role, it is expected that the role will directly be involved on Field calls to chosen and strategic customers, and the definition of a strategy to grow those particular customers.
- Develop, adjust and implement key programs to address specific sales growth strategies and goals, specifically around the areas of Practice Development, Key Account Management and Services.
- Ensures sales planning, forecasting, business planning, customer service, clinical and execution are properly put in place to business objectives.
**In this role, you’ll need **
- Minimum of 6 years work experience in relevant roles within marketing or commercial management
- Marketing career from FMCG healthcare industry, pharmaceutical or medical devices.
- Comfortable to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural organization in a fast pace environment
- Previous sales or trade experience is a plus
- Excellence in execution and attention to details
- Highly Hands on and autonomous profile
- Analytical skill
- Team contributor who cultivates collaborative work environment
- Client focused and entrepreneurial mindset
- Effective communication
- Fast learner (clinical, regulation, environments, etc)
- Degree in Business related areas
- English spoken and written communication skill
- Skillful at producing documents with MS office programs
