The Role
To support the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a Business Development Representative, Data Management Solutions.

You will have a key role to play contributing to the regional strategy and the acceleration of Data Management Solutions products and solutions in LAM.

This is a full-time permanent role in our Santiago, Chile office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Commercial Development

  • Develop KPI's to measure aligning with the global Data Management Solutions team and track portfolio acceleration
  • Contribute to and influence consistent go to market plans for Data Management Solutions portfolios, including channels, sales enablement, pricing, campaigns, targets, platform and process improvements etc
  • Contribute to global Data Management Solutions initiatives such as alternative channels to market (e.g. ISR, digital, partner), and act as the inregion champion for those channels
  • Collaborate and build relationships with teams regionally and globally

Business Development

  • Lead key strategic Business Development engagements
  • Capture feedback and learnings from customers and staff to optimise our go to market Data Management Solutions plans with the goal of reducing rework, delays and slowing acceleration.
  • Conduct regular commercial reviews with teams, to learn and improve commercial approach, individuals plans, share learnings, hone best practise etc.
  • Be a role model for the organisation on how to drive adoption of new technology across both our existing customer base and new
ew customers

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure campaigns that are feeding the regional pipeline for the Data Management Solutions portfolio of solutions and ensuring those leads and opportunities are followed up by the relevant team member.
  • The performance and activities of the unit are managed effectively, successfully and to a high standard;
  • Work with through line managers, ensure staff are crystal clear about what's expected of them and there are metrics to measure and defined, agreed outcomes;
  • Positively support the EVP LAM and the VP BD Mining Data Management Solutions and providing constructive reinforcement of the Seequent strategic plan.
  • Influence the regional teams and also act directly in a BD role with customers to lead and drive adoption.

This role could be a good fit for you if you have:

  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Extensive experience in a sales and business development environment (7+ years)
  • Proven and developed commercial acumen
  • Strong communication skills, across cultures, roles and customer persona's, both verbal and written, in person and online
  • Highly analytical, with an ability to step out and up, and make judgements based on less than the full data set able to use experience, judgement and initiative to make up the gap to make decisions.
  • Must possess the ability to be persistent, patient, innovative, and work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment;
