Job Overview

As a Technical Sales Engineer at TOMRA Food, you will be responsible for managing direct customer sales across assigned areas. Your primary goal will be to ensure sales targets are met and customer satisfaction remains high. This role requires frequent travel and occasional international travel to support the Latam business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve individual sales targets.
  2. Regularly visit customer sites to meet with engineering, operations, and maintenance personnel, providing technical support and product knowledge.
  3. Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and support issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  4. Stay up-to-date with all products sold, tracking key sales activities, metrics, and results.
  5. Accurately report on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management.
  6. Represent the company professionally at trade shows, industry events, and customer sites.
  7. Maintain and foster close relationships with customers and major key accounts.
Requirements

About You:
  1. Relevant qualification/degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, or electronic).
  2. 3+ years of experience in selling large capital industrial equipment is a plus.
  3. Demonstrated experience in managing key accounts.
  4. Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English.
  5. Ability to work in both open office environments and customer industrial work facilities.
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative tasks accurately and timely.
  7. Proficiency in modern business methods, financial control, and practical application skills.
