Sales Development Representative

At EECOL Electric, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to start or advance their sales career.
About the Role
- This Inside Sales position will focus on acquiring new customers and expanding existing relationships to drive revenue growth.
- You will work closely with our outside sales team to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new customers through phone and email outreach, negotiating orders and contracts while providing exceptional customer service.
- Bulk up existing customer orders by suggesting related products, explaining features and benefits, and reviewing customer buying history.
- Develop and own qualified leads passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts teams.
- Prepare and issue quotes, negotiate terms, and follow up to secure orders or understand reasons for lost business.
- Analyze open customer order reports, address outstanding items, and mitigate potential delivery date issues.
- Maintain accurate distribution system backorder records, associated customer expediting reports, and notifications.
- Provide industry insights, competitive pricing intelligence, and customer feedback to management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Background in sales and sales administration, ideally within 0-2 years of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Able to multitask effectively and work as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed orientation and ability to prospect new accounts.
- Solution-oriented mindset, capable of identifying problems and finding solutions independently.
- Flexibility to travel up to 25% as needed.
Compensation Package:
The estimated annual salary range for this role is between $40,000 and $60,000 based on location and performance, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
