Director, General Manager Pure Channel Partnership Markets, LATAM

This position reports directly to the President International Channel Partnership Markets and is part of the CP Leadership team. The General Manager will be responsible for achieving sales and margin targets by collaborating with business partners in the region.

The Pure CP Cluster in LATAM comprises countries including Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and the Caribbean. This position involves directing and motivating the CAH team to assess market opportunities, launch new products, and maximize all new contract opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead strategic partners (distributors) in LATAM in alignment with our Partnership Excellence Program (PEP) to drive sustainable growth.
  • Fully responsible for the Pure CP Markets in LATAM P&L, driving exceptional performance against internal and external metrics.
  • Formulate and execute competitive commercial strategies that align with the company's international directives to achieve short and long-term revenue growth.
  • Successfully launch new products with associated metrics, incorporating deep customer, competitor, and environmental insights.
  • Develop and implement strategies for additional growth drivers, such as inorganic business development and other Cardinal Health solutions and services.
  • Contribute to the development of Pure CP LATAM strategy and key brands.
  • Hire, develop, and retain talent, developing a robust pipeline of diverse leaders with skills to succeed in a complex and dynamic marketplace.
  • Lead all customer-facing activities, including marketing, sales, professional education, key customer, and distributor management nationwide.
  • Develop new/existing KOL relationships and association with relevant key clinicians.
  • Deliver enabling capabilities, including Order to Cash, Tender Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Contract Management, Credit Controls, and Customer Service.
  • Lead the strategic 3rd party logistics (3PL) partner relationship.
  • Partner with LATAM functional leaders to ensure excellent functional performance, including Finance, QRA, IT, HR, Communications, and Legal & Compliance.
  • Influence public policy outcomes in collaboration with functional leaders and industry partners.
  • Represent the company on relevant industry and external stakeholder bodies.
  • Ensure strong governance and controls, including compliance and integrity, are embedded and delivered at every level within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Advance proficiency in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Experience working in some of the countries within the LATAM Region.
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial networks and partnerships with key external leaders and agencies to develop value-generating solutions.

  • Travel requirements: Ability to travel at least 3 days per week as required.
