As a Regional Service Line Manager Spare Parts, you will be responsible for the strategic alignment between the region and the industry for the Thickeners service line. This role involves developing and implementing profitable growth strategies, acting as a product expert, promoting parts and products to customers, and providing sales and technical support.
Job Responsibilities
Single point of contact Region-Industry. Responsible for the strategic alignment between the Region and Industry for the Spare Parts.
Own the development and implementation of Region profitable growth strategy over the entire product life cycle with support of the Service group and Region according to the corporate expectation & business standards.
Serve as the Service expert in the Region for the assigned product line.
Work with the Region Sales to promote Spare Parts in the Region to all relevant customers.
Support Global PLMs, ISS, and Region Sales to develop wining proposals.
Promote training, guidance and sales materials to customers, sales, and field Service.
Travel with sales to customers sites and engineering firms to troubleshoot, win orders, consult on system design, support start-ups as necessary, and ensure proper aftermarket support is in place including warranty/quality issue resolution.
Provides direct product support with Region Rebuilds and Retrofits/Upgrades.
Assist to define Service Marketing strategy and support marketing during the implementation.
What you bring
Availability to work in the field, in customers' plants, where the demand for out-of-office work may exceed 60% of the available time.
Knowledge of Maintenance and Operation of mining clients.
At least 5 years in areas related to mining processes.
Understanding and willingness to work in a mining environment where physical activities such as standing, bending, climbing ladders, lifting a certain amount of weight, exposure to dust, etc. are required.
Must be willing to comply with safety standards and FLSmidth requirements.
Intermediate English proficiency.
