**Qualifications and Experience**
- An undergraduate/graduate degree in Early Childhood and/or Elementary Education

preferred
- A Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in School Leadership/Administration preferred
- At least five years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred
- Experience leading curriculum development and professional learning
- Experience in school leadership
- Experience working in multicultural and multilingual settings
- Communication skills to work with parents, teachers, and students
- Fluency in Spanish preferred

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- The Elementary School seeks an educational leader who:

- Is knowledgeable in elementary curriculum content including US Common Core standards,
- NGSS and C3 as well as inquiry and workshop based instructional methodology.
- Is knowledgeable in instructional processes including differentiated instruction for students
- with diverse linguistic backgrounds and learning profiles.
- Is knowledgeable with the CASEL framework along with restorative practices and can use

this to support student behavior and the management of systems that support a strong,
healthy student climate.
- Is highly personable, articulate, and enthusiastic with experience working in collaborative

learning environments.
- Has a demonstrated ability to design and deliver high-quality professional development.
- Values data and has experience using it to inform instruction.
- Is efficient, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Can work collaboratively with ES administration to develop and to achieve school goals.
- Can support the efficient running of the elementary school organization.
- Has a strong understanding of and experience in elementary childhood development.
- Can build strong relationships with parents and other key stakeholders.
