Strategic Financial Business Partner for Global Pharmaceutical Operations

Role Overview:
The Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) serves as a key business partner to the commercial organization, leveraging in-depth business understanding combined with financial expertise to drive initiatives forward that are critical to delivering our strategy.
About the Job:
We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Financial Business Partner. As a FEP, you will build networks across the organization to share best practices and co-create solutions that generate value for the affiliate, the enterprise, and the customer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to support co-lead touchpoints throughout the whole customer journey with an enterprise mindset.
- Balance resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activities.
- Develop a coherent affiliate commercial strategy and support commercial business-related processes such as business planning, opportunity prioritization, and creative strategies for revenue generation.
- Ensure financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advise on deviations and corrective actions.
- Participate in FEP communities to learn, share, and implement best practices across markets.
- Support the business and customers in co-creating new business models, quantifying value, and providing pricing transparency.
- Stimulate behaviors across the organization aligned with financial objectives.
- Monitor and manage customer performance over the whole contract life cycle with a profitability and outcomes-based perspective.
- Propose and drive ideas for P&L improvement – upsell opportunities, efficiency/waste improvement, risk reduction, channel filling, etc.
- Play an active part in ensuring sustainable commercial deals by considering risk evaluation, competitor assumptions, and implementing sustainable pricing strategies.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience working in a multinational pharmaceutical or diagnostics environment.
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced English level (both written and verbal).
- Deep understanding of financial processes, principles, and performance metrics.
- Strong ability to build networks, share best practices, and co-create solutions across the organization.
- Capability to act as a trusted thought partner and stimulate behaviors aligned with financial objectives.
Location: The location is not specified, but we estimate the salary range based on industry standards. We expect an annual salary around $120,000-$180,000, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
