Retail Merchandise Manager

H&M Group is a leading fashion brand offering the latest styles and inspiration. We are seeking an experienced Retail Merchandise Manager to drive execution of our commercial agenda and merchandising strategy in Santiago de Chile.
Job Responsibilities- We are looking for someone with a strong analytical ability, commercial skills, and a customer-centric approach to exceed financial targets.
- The successful candidate will have retail knowledge, understanding synergies between channels, and interest in product development, stock management, and inventory optimization.
- Key responsibilities include implementing and executing regional merchandising strategies, optimizing local selling peaks, and managing information related to kick-off, sale packs, BF-packs, deal packs, and direction packs for commercial execution.
- The role requires knowledge of the market retail situation, competitive landscape, and customer profile, as well as staying up-to-date with assortment and demand & inventory strategy.
- The ideal candidate will be able to drive in-season and post-season inventory management, pick full-price, discount, and sale activities in line with regional direction, execute stock management, sales, and End-of-Period (EOP) in line with the regional strategy.
- The Retail Merchandise Manager will follow up on store stock, resolve issues together with the inventory optimization team, and execute regional guidelines related to assortment and allocation.
- The successful candidate will also be responsible for following up and informing about progress, providing commercial teams with constant and structured sales follow-up for the channel, reviewing commercial plans periodically, and suggesting improvements for the next year.
- A university degree, preferably in Business, Economics/Finance, or similar, and years of experience within merchandising, inventory optimization, or supply and demand planning.
- Strong retail knowledge, previous experience in executing commercial plans, and in-and-post season stock management.
- The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of operational best practices and routines for physical stores, operating merchandising systems, tools, and methods, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.

Estimated SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits and incentives.
