Director, General Manager Pure Channel Partnership Markets, LATAM

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Pure Channel Partnership Markets in LATAM. As General Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales and margin targets by working closely with Business partners in the region.

The Pure CP Cluster in LATAM comprises countries such as Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and the Caribbean. You will direct and motivate the CAH team to assist with assessing market opportunities, launching new products, and ensuring all new contract opportunities are maximized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, and announce strategic partners (distributors) in LATAM in alignment with our Partnership Excellence Program (PEP) to drive sustainable growth.
  • Full P&L responsibility and accountability for Pure CP Markets in LATAM. Drive exceptional performance against internal & external metrics.
  • Formulate and execute competitive commercial strategies that align with the company international directives to achieve short and long-term revenue growth, while ensuring that goals are consistent with the vision and mission of Cardinal Health.
  • Successfully achieve multiple new product launches with associated metrics. Ensure deep customer, competitor & environmental insights are incorporated in plans & execution.
  • Develop & implement strategy for additional growth drivers such as inorganic business development, as well as other Cardinal Health solutions and services.
  • Contribute to the development of Pure CP LATAM strategy & key brands.
  • Hire, develop, and retain talent. Develop a robust pipeline of diverse leaders with skills to succeed in a complex and dynamic marketplace and champion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace environment and highly engaged workforce.
  • Leadership of all customer-facing activities, including marketing, sales, professional education, key customer, and distributor management nationwide.
  • Development of new/existing KOL relationships and association with relevant key clinicians.
  • Delivery of enabling capabilities, including Order to Cash, Tender Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Contract Management, Credit Controls, and Customer Service.
  • Lead strategic 3rd party logistics (3PL) partner relationship.
  • Partner with LATAM functional leaders to ensure excellent functional performance, including Finance, QRA, IT, HR, Communications, and Legal & Compliance.
  • Influence public policy outcomes in collaboration with functional leaders & industry partners.
  • Represent the company on relevant industry & external stakeholder bodies.
  • Ensure strong governance and controls including compliance and integrity are embedded and delivered at every level within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors' degree in Science, Business or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience is required, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical / health care industry or similar.
  • Advance proficiency in English and Spanish is a must.
  • Experience working in some of the countries within the LATAM Region.
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial networks and partnerships with key external leaders and agencies to develop value-generating solutions.

  • Travel requirements: Ability to travel at least 3 days per week as required.
