Job Overview

Objective:

Accountable for the sales of systems within a specified market, particularly in the utility and mining sectors, aligning with strategic goals. Foster enduring customer relationships and address specific client needs and challenges. Recognize and cultivate sales prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue and Profitability: Engages in selling systems to clients, emphasizing volume, product mix, and profitability objectives for the associated business unit. Client Engagement: Develops and sustains productive client relationships to comprehend customer requirements, enhance their understanding of the complete range of products/systems/services available, and coordinate to deliver tailored solutions. Guarantees a favorable customer experience throughout the sales journey. Conducts on-site visits to assess client needs. Sales Strategy: Formulates sales strategies utilizing company resources. Conducts regular performance assessments and suggests corrective measures in instances of potential order deficits. Develops a stakeholder map from clients. Transaction Management: Adds value for both the client and Hitachi Energy, ensuring successful transactions, contracts, and proposals through effective sales methodologies. Communicates details in line with Hitachi Energy's offerings and strategies (including delivery timelines, payment terms, and general conditions). Negotiates contract stipulations. Marketing Initiatives: Ensures effective marketing strategies and value propositions for clients. Market Development: Identifies and promotes the growth of new market opportunities within the designated sector, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration. Administrative Support: Oversees administrative tasks in the sales process and assists with collection and project management activities as necessary. Proposal Development: Prepares proposals in collaboration with the bidding and proposal team and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensures that technical and financial components of proposals, including pricing and trading conditions, are appropriately addressed.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Civil Engineering Minimum of 6 years of sales experience Language Proficiency: Intermediate/Advanced English and Spanish Proven experience as a Sales Specialist with the capability to conduct thorough market analysis and formulate the marketing and sales strategy based on historical market data, trends, and behaviors. Established network within the Utility and Mining sectors. Familiarity with Control, Protection, SCADA, and High Voltage Telecommunications.
