Key Responsibilities- Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions, including architectural system design, to meet our clients' business and technical requirements.
- Customer Engagement: Facilitate customer discussions to discover key business and technical requirements, and develop implementation plans based on the identified requirements.
- Technical Guidance: Provide experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to customers based on established best practices.
- Solution Roll-out: Support the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for customers.
- Project Management: Handle customer engagements as a project manager, responsible for scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the customer relationship.
- Internal Collaboration: Advise on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical team.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Promote yourself as a subject matter expert and valued member of the community.
- Proposal Development: Assist with proposal development and statement of work definitions.
- Sales Support: Engage with potential customers on sales calls as a technical resource, advising on product solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor the technical consulting team and onboard new team members, ensuring the entire team uses best practices.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related technical disciplines.
- Technical Experience: At least 3-5 years as a technical consultant or systems administrator, combined with a solid background in service design and delivery with some business analysis experience.
- Customer Engagement: A successful history in customer engagement and demonstrated exceptional consulting and influencing skills, including at C-level.
- Solution Implementation: Proven track record in implementing solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to take a holistic view across a range of domains.
- Requirements Analysis: Demonstrated expertise in undertaking analysis, evaluation, and translation of customer requirements and feeding into solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation, written, and verbal communication.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Mentorship: Enjoys mentoring new consultants on technical and soft skills that are part of the consultant's toolkit.
- Software Products: Strong knowledge of software products, both in terms of application-side and administration of various platforms.
- Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc.
- Unix/Linux: Skilled with Unix/Linux command line.
- SQL: Experience with SQL.
- Web Application Architecture: An understanding of web application architecture.
- ITIL/ITSM: Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles.
- UAT Testing: Experienced in UAT testing and test use-case development.
- Integration Scenarios: Understanding and experience with integration scenarios with tools like CI/CD platforms, such as Jenkins, and others.
- Atlassian Products: Hands-on admin-level experience with Atlassian platform products, including JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Cloud, Crowd, Access, Portfolio, and others.
