Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our ISHELP group in Santiago, Chile. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing end-user support and customer service to French and English-speaking clients across various zones on company-supported computer applications and platforms via voice, email, and chat.

About the Role

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support for Server, Workstations, and remote assistance
  • Assisting users with application and operating system problems and resolving their computing requirements in a timely manner
  • Accurately logging all client requests in the Service Desk ticketing system
  • Diagnosing and resolving client issues related to hardware, telephone, printers, software, etc., including upgrades
  • Escalating and coordinating reported incidents to other relevant internal IS departments (Systems, Network, Software, Security)
  • Contributing to the close-working and effective function of the IS team
  • Maintenance of network & non-network computers
  • Installation & control of approved software applications being used by the company
  • Ensuring that all issues logged are tagged, tracked, and resolved at the earliest to minimize downtime
  • Performing asset management activities, both hardware and software, in accordance with GHD policies and procedures

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunications), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of Help Desk/Technical Support experience
  • Industry Certification (e.g., MSCE, ITIL) would be desirable
  • Good communication skills in French and English (both oral and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Willingness to work on shifting work hours

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
