Overview of the Role: As the Regional Rewards Consultant for the Latin America region, you will be instrumental in executing high-quality compensation programs and services tailored for the diverse divisions of Weir within this area. This position requires close collaboration with regional HR Business Partners and key business stakeholders, leveraging global policies and processes to provide effective solutions while also having the expertise to suggest and implement localized strategies when necessary.

The Regional Rewards Consultant plays a vital role in the execution of Weir's Compensation Strategy across Latin America. This role generally operates within the framework of established global compensation policies, addressing core aspects such as salary administration, bonuses, incentives, equity programs, insured benefits, and global mobility. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to the global development and regional implementation of various compensation initiatives, including recognition programs, pay transparency, retirement plans, inclusion, diversity & equity, regulatory compliance, and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration with Global Reward Teams: Engage effectively as part of a global rewards team, building strong partnerships with other Regional Rewards Consultants and the broader rewards delivery function. Work collaboratively with colleagues worldwide to ensure consistent compensation practices and adherence to global policies. Stakeholder Engagement and Business Alignment: Cultivate strong working relationships with regional HR Business Partners and key business stakeholders, including Finance. Understand how compensation strategies can support and align with business objectives, enhancing employee engagement. Market Data Analysis and Benefits Oversight: Conduct job evaluations and market data benchmarking in accordance with Weir's established global compensation processes. Manage relationships with regional brokers and oversee the review, marketing, and renewal processes of insured policies under Weir's Global Benefits Management framework. Recognition and Regulatory Compliance: Assist in developing a global recognition framework and oversee its implementation in the Latin America region. Ensure compliance with existing and emerging regional compensation-related regulations and legal requirements. Reward Projects and Analytical Insights: Lead Weir's cyclical compensation processes, including annual salary reviews and bonus distributions in the Latin America region. Conduct in-depth analyses related to compensation to provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Technology Integration and Consistency Across Divisions: Play a crucial role in enhancing digital capabilities and improving the employee experience within Weir's compensation portfolio. Identify opportunities, recommend solutions, and implement measures to ensure consistency and equity across divisions in the Latin America region and globally. Commitment to Safety: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to our zero harm principles, supporting the development of a world-class safety culture.

Qualifications and Skills:

In-depth understanding and proven experience in compensation principles, practices, and regulations relevant to the Latin America region. Proficiency in multiple languages applicable to the Latin America region, with strong English communication skills being desirable. Demonstrated experience across the full spectrum of compensation management, ideally in a multinational context. Familiarity with Workday, particularly in the use of Advanced Compensation features. Strong financial acumen and business insight. Excellent analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Proficient in the full MS Office suite, especially Excel. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels. Proven project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive compensation information. Strong research abilities, including conducting market analysis and presenting key findings effectively. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
