Our team is looking for a self diven and motivated Senior Manager, Product Commercial Support, Hydrometallurgy with focus in Market Area South America. This role will work closely with market area teams to grow the Hydromatellurgy service business in Metso South America.

We are offering a challenging and rewarding tier 2 sales management role with focus on a truly industry-leading product, process solutions, and service offerings. No day will be similar in this role and we encourage you to think outside of the box so you'll be able to influence a lot on the ways of working within the team. You would be part of a truly global team having the opportunity to work with colleagues from several countries. Working in the global business line Product Commercial Support team, you would be a business line expert working with local sales teams to build campaigns, develop sales funnel, prioritize opportunities and sales activities. This role requires technical & process knowledge in Hydrometallurgy and also a solid commercial mindset. You’ll have a local and global technical expert network supporting you with the most challenging technical solutions.

You would work closely with the Business Line Product teams to deploy new product information, share best practices, organize sales training, and communicate technology-specific value argumentation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for supporting and leading service sales for Hydrometallurgy.
Acts as the main contact from sales towards Service Product Management and takes frontline feedback to the product management/development and delivery.
Responsible for the value argumentation, value proposition, and win plan of the cases and overall for the technology.
Understands the market, competition, and the industry best practices and ensures the sales case is built accordingly.
Coaching and training of market area service sales teams (offering and ways to sell) and constantly seeks for best practices with the company.
Ensures compliance with sales process, proposal, and risk management procedures in the cases.
Constantly seeks new ways to sell and develops alternative business models.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or minerals processing preferred
Solid Hydrometallurgy experience (7+ years)
Solid Hydrometallurgy market and industry understanding and experience (7+ years)
Solid commercial understanding and experience
Solid sales and service business understanding and experience

Commercial mindset - Understanding of Profit & Loss and ability to engineer deals commercially.
Technical knowhow - Experience and technical knowledge of the offering to be able to add value to opportunities and coach internal and external stakeholders
Can-do attitude & growth mindset - Always finding better ways to do things and remove roadblocks from getting orders. Not afraid to take managed risks.
