The Lead Agent supervises, organizes and motivates employees. They will also engage in the ticket counter sales activities.

Maintains company standards concerning quality and quantity of work to ensure maximum sales effectiveness and standards of efficient, accurate and courteous service is provided at all times.


What you'll do:

  • Performs supervisory and administrative functions
  • Determines and communicates operational needs to the Travel Center Manager
  • Issues written and oral instruction and corrective action if necessary
  • Responsible for weekly and daily scheduling and manpower utilization
  • Coordinates new hire training and monitors successful completion of new hire selfstudy training workbook
  • Performs agent work as required

All you'll need for success:

**Minimum Qualifications

  • Education & Prior Job Experience*
  • Has a minimum of one year experience in Travel Center, Reservation or Passenger Service
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrates good working knowledge of Sabre
  • Excellent customer service and interpersoanl skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts according to operational needs
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to read, write and fluently speak both English and Native Language
  • Good organizational skills
  • Demonstrates above average qualities of leadership, initiative and judgement
  • Ability to read, understand, explain and enforce company policies, procedures and regulations
  • Ability to prepare written instructions and reports
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of tariff, ticketing, AAdvantage and groups preferred
