Sales Support Representative

**Job Description:**:**JOB SUMMARY**:Provide financing sales support to the FPD Sales team, and the dealers, providing quotes, preparing customer proposal to send to Credit Department for analysis, prepare customers contract documentation and communicate credit decisions to customers/dealer.

**PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Provide information about the benefits/value offered by Cat Financial and financing quotes, both to dealers and end customers or internal company personnel.

2. Request and manage the request for documentation required by Cat Financial to end customers or through the dealer.

3. Prepare the credit documentation correctly to request its analysis to the corresponding department within Cat Financial.

4. Provide support to the distributor salesperson and the Territory Managers through the realization of different quotes and requirements.

5. Calculate collateral values and residues through the Valuation Management System.

6. Assist customers and distributors to resolve their requirements or generated business problems.

7. Assist in the development and execution of merchandising programs and assist distributors through the use of these tools.

8. Train the office and the distributor regarding the current merchandising programs and the quotation system to later promote their use.

9. Have understanding and knowledge of: a) the documents required both for credit analysis and to request contracts b) merchandising programs c) quotes d) collections and e) ways to securitize assets through different financial products (leasing financial/operational, loans) so that you can explain it to customers and distributors.

10. Help customers resolve billing issues and channel their requirements to the appropriate department.

11. Visit clients and vendors in case the Territory Manager is not available.

12. Participate in projects and initiatives linked to continuous improvement for the fulfillment of the department's objectives.

**Basic Qualifications**:
**Education /Experience**:A 4-year college or university degree in any discipline and a minimum of 2 years exempt experience in credit, customer services, collections, marketing, financial statement analysis and/or accounting is recommended. Previous exempt work experience must be progressively increasing in responsibility and accountability and demonstrate an ability to gain in knowledge, skills and responsibility such that a level of full competency can be reached. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.

**English **Level**:Intermediate.

**Skills, Abilities and Knowledge**:
2. Demonstrated knowledge of ability to analyze customer credit summaries and past due accounts.

4. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to prepare sales reports and sales related statistical reports.

5. Demonstrated knowledge of sales, credit and customer services concepts and techniques.

7. Demonstrated knowledge of CFSC financing and leasing products and documentation principles.

8. Demonstrated knowledge of past due account collection procedures and techniques.

9. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to calculate casualty values and amortization schedules.

10. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and dealer personnel..

11. Demonstrated ability to develop accurate, competitive and timely finance lease quotes for customers at an acceptable yield to CFSC.

12. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize daily job tasks to maintain high quality service to internal and external customers.
