We are seeking a seasoned Sales Development Manager for Food Retail to join our dynamic team in Santiago, Chile. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships within the Food Retail segment.

About the Role
  • Job Summary: Develop and manage Food Retail segment & HORECA for Chile, Perú and Bolivia, ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing customer portfolio, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service to drive customer loyalty.
  • Develop new customers through potential evaluation and strategic account management.
  • Collaborate with the application engineer team to create a robust pipeline and drive business growth.
  • Share opportunities with peers on a monthly basis and provide solutions to end-users.
  • Ensure timely analysis and problem-solving with the support of the Customer Service Center.
  • Nurture relationships with end-users and OEM customers, understanding market needs and creating value selling.
  • Stay informed about market trends and project pipelines.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Engineer with a technical background and solid commercial skills, holding at least 5 years of experience in the Food Retail business.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in commercial refrigeration, specifically in the Food Retail segment and Co2 systems.
  • Able to work in a matrix environment with various product types and deal with designers, installers, OEMs, and end-users.
  • Proficient in Value Selling and Spin Selling approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and proficiency in MS Office package and Sales Force (CRM).
