Your Mission

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Operations Manager to oversee the accounting and tax obligations of ecoligo's subsidiaries across Latin America, particularly in Central America. This role will be based in our Santiago de Chile office. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing, automating, and streamlining our financial processes. Your exceptional organizational skills will be crucial in managing the various entities within the ecoligo group, navigating the complexities of diverse tax regulations across countries. In this role, you will:

  • Supervise our external accounting teams and tax consultants to ensure timely updates to our financial records and compliance with monthly tax obligations
    • Oversee the assignment and recording of ongoing business transactions
    • Ensure accurate accounting practices concerning tax obligations, including payroll taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate taxes
  • Coordinate the year-end financial closing and annual corporate tax submissions in collaboration with our external tax advisors
  • Manage Accounts Receivable
    • Generate customer invoices and oversee revenue collection for your designated regions
  • Oversee Accounts Payable
    • Process supplier invoices and coordinate payment schedules with our treasury team
  • Interpret and advise on legislative and regulatory requirements as needed, ensuring that any necessary adjustments to processes are implemented
  • Continuously enhance operational processes in your area and contribute to the digital transformation of our organization
  • Provide additional reporting as required for both internal and external stakeholders
Your Profile

Your Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards and practices, including IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in an international organization with multiple entities and intercompany transactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, with experience in data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI being advantageous
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (the primary language of our office)
  • Familiarity with the invoicing process in Sistema de Facturación Gratuito Del SII (Chilean ID required)
