Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team at Mattel. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of financial reports, including income provision and working papers for local, corporate, and audit reporting purposes.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze monthly expenses and determine whether they are deductible or non-deductible.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including working with the tax advisor to clarify concepts and impacts of tax reforms and IFRS.
  • Communication: Share information with external auditors and respond to requirements from tax authorities.
  • Support: Provide requested supports and coordinate with other areas to deliver auditors' requests.
  • Justification: Justify tax calculations and provision calculations.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare monthly and annual returns for Chile and assist direct reports in preparing monthly and annual returns for Colombia and Peru.
  • Accounting: Handle accounting accounts related to customer benefits, intercompany transactions, realized and unrealized FX, and fixed assets.
