This role will be based in Santiago de Chile and will involve enhancing and streamlining existing processes. Your strong organizational abilities will help you manage all entities within the ecoligo group while navigating complex tax regulations across various jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise external accountants and tax consultants to ensure timely updates of financial records and compliance with monthly tax submissions.
- Oversee the assignment and recording of ongoing business transactions, ensuring accuracy in tax and accounting practices, including payroll taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate taxes.
- Coordinate the year-end financial closing and annual corporate tax submissions in collaboration with external advisors.
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing customers and overseeing revenue collection for your designated regions.
- Handle Accounts Payable by processing supplier invoices and coordinating payments with the treasury team.
- Interpret and advise on legislative and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary adjustments to processes.
- Continuously enhance processes within your domain and contribute to the automation and digital transformation of our organization.
- Provide additional reporting as required for both internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile
Essential Skills:
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices, including IFRS.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in an international setting with multiple entities and intercompany transactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, with experience in data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI being advantageous.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Familiarity with the invoicing process in Sistema de Facturación Gratuito Del SII (Chilean ID required).
