About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Product Manager to shape the future of our Tetris game live operations. As the most senior product person within the product group, you will lead the product roadmap and manage the Live Operations team, ensuring the product meets business objectives and delivers an exceptional player experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Live Operations Management:
    1. Develop and execute strategies for live operations, including in-game events, promotions, and updates to maximize player engagement and retention.
    2. Own the performance, strategy, and roadmap for live operations, aligning with business objectives.
    3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  2. Leadership and People Management:
    1. Directly hire, onboard, grow, direct, and manage product managers and owners within the Live Operations team.
    2. Define roles, responsibilities, and ways of working for product team members.
    3. Coach and mentor other product managers, assessing their performance and fostering their professional growth.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    1. Collaborate with the business owner, economy & BI lead, tech lead, and creative lead to drive the overall product vision and strategy.
    2. Work closely with design, art, and engineering teams to implement live operations initiatives and ensure a world-class user experience.
  4. Data-Driven Decision Making:
    1. Analyze game metrics related to retention, monetization, and engagement to drive product and business performance.
    2. Conduct direct analysis and collaborate with the data team to develop insights from game and player data.
    3. Utilize these insights to improve live operations and overall product performance.
  5. Player Engagement:
    1. Engage with customer support, player community, social media, and forums to understand player needs and desires.
    2. Optimize features and events under your remit based on player feedback and data-driven insights.
  6. Product Development:
    1. Drive product requirements for live operations, creating well-defined specifications and wireframes.
    2. Ensure product acceptance criteria are met, delivering a seamless and engaging player experience.
    3. Articulate product strategy and present clear, measurable objectives that align with business goals.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on live operations.
  2. Experience managing and mentoring a product team.
  3. Ability to articulate, build, and establish product lifecycle processes and infrastructure.
  4. Willingness to perform hands-on product management work as needed.
  5. Strong data-driven analytical skills, capable of operating and thriving with partial information and ambiguity.
  6. Background in gaming, with a strong business orientation.
  7. Proficiency with data tools such as Tableau, and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
  8. Deep experience in one or more of the following areas: analytics, player-centric design, UI/UX, game design, and monetization.
