At Park Place Technologies, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Generation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in assigned territories.

Job Overview:

  • We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
  • As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will develop and implement agreed-upon territory sales plans to meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the territory.
  • You will work closely with presales engineering and sales support teams to achieve customer satisfaction, account acquisition, revenue generation, and long-term account goals aligned with our company vision and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling server and storage maintenance agreements to middle market firms.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and offering knowledge to effectively prospect, qualify, develop, and close new business.
  • Develop annual sales plans in conjunction with the Director, Territory Sales, detailing activities to follow during the fiscal year, focusing on meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, pricing, and proposal models.
  • Carry on business conversations with business influencers and decision makers.
  • Maximize opportunities in the process of closing a sale, resulting in taking market share from competitors.
  • Sell, consult, and make recommendations to prospects and clients on various solutions offered by the company to their business issues.
  • Develop databases of qualified leads in CRM through referrals, telephone canvassing, cold calling on prospects, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Assist in implementing company marketing plans in the territory as needed.
  • Source and develop client relationships and referrals.
  • Gather and submit detailed qualifying information for pricing and presentation of solutions to identified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.

Requirements:

  • Five to ten (5-10) years of sales experience in hardware or maintenance agreements to middle market firms or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in calling on CIO's, CTO's, CFO's, Strategic Sourcing, Directors of IT, Systems Administrators, and/or Data Center Managers.
  • Demonstrated goal attainment track record over multiple plan years.

Travel Requirements:

  • 20% travel required
