The Tapflo Group, a leading pump manufacturer, is seeking an ambitious and skilled Commercial Sales Development Manager to join its team in Assen. As the first point of contact for existing and potential customers, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences
- Cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research
- Work closely with the internal team to identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and market analysis
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in the industrial equipment industry
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, marketing strategies, and business development techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch a plus
