**Business Analyst**: Business Analyst, Saltlake Sec -V

**Responsibilities**:

- Meeting and working with external stakeholders to determine requirements, scope, and understanding of their relationship to the current solution and future solution.
- Traveling to customer sites
- Determine customer business and functional requirements.
- Being involved in sales and support and where appropriate, creating proposals maintaining contact with client organizations, and acting as an interface between the clients, development team, and development support team
- Elicit gathered requirements in various documents.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders/colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organization.
- Improve systems by studying current practices; and designing modifications.
- Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Validate resource, and technology requirements and develop cost estimate models.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group.
- Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
- Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required, and present findings of studies to client committees.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Review a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution, and facilities.
- Impact Analysis and Feasibility Study
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes.
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
- Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

**Requirements**:

- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; and evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Construct workflow charts, DFD, ER, and other UML diagrams (e.g. Activity, Use Case, Sequence)
- Studying system capabilities
- Writing business documents like BRD, Proposals, Business/Product/Project Case studies
- Prepare software estimation document as per industry standard.
- Writing system specifications documents Like FSD/FRS, and SRS (including User Stories, Use Cases) & preparing Wireframes.
- Manage Change Requests (CR); Impact Analysis and Feasibility Study
- Attending project team meetings - pre-sale and post-sale
- Assist/guide the business users and development teams in making the recommended changes, proceeding with DAR meetings, helping to resolve any issues, including risk management, and helping to optimize the work and scope.
- UAT of products and projects, installing and monitoring assigned and internal projects and new systems.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

**Primary Skills**
- Diversified knowledge in different technical domains i.e. ERP (Supply Chain, CRM, HRMS, and Payroll), Retail and Service platforms, etc.
