We are seeking an experienced Cloud Transformation Leader to join our team at Amazon. This is a highly visible role that requires guiding AWS customers along their multi-year journey to the cloud.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all AWS teams are working together effectively and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the customer. This includes collaborating with customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration between core account groups, product/engineering teams, and customer teams.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage experience with large-scale cloud transformations to shepherd customers through their stages of AWS adoption.
- Guide customers through operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.
- Interface with customer and AWS leadership to drive collaboration and planning.
- Translate strategic initiatives into executable actions and manage cadence by leading reporting and tracking functions.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exemplary communication skills. They should also be detail-driven, a peer leader, and able to gain stakeholder buy-in.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in leading large-scale technical or engineering programs is required. The candidate should also have 2+ years of customer-facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies. A Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business, or equivalent is also required.
Preferred QualificationsPMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification is preferred. Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects, is also desirable.
