LATAM Energy Business Development Manager to join its office in
Santiago, Chile within the Consulting Commercial Division.
Mission:
The Business Development Manager will be in charge for the development of RINA Business in LATAM, based in Santiago and assigned to offer and address RINA portfolio of services for Energy Market focused on Mining Market in its related geographical coverage.

Responsibilities:
Business Development, Commercial, Planning and strategy
The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in developing RINA offering of an assigned services portfolio and/or within an assigned geographical coverage Be responsible for sales and business development initiatives: focused on new sales, business opportunities, client visits and management exploring also opportunities for alliances and partnerships.
Main tasks:
- Drive and monitor the order intake pipeline updating the pipeline with new prospects;
- Track competitor activity and providing updates on competitor news and intelligence;
- Lead and provide support on major contracts, tenders, and quotations.
- Lead and support contract closing activities and capture lessons learned.
- Planned business development activity for established and new clients;
- Develop business strategy and strategic plan for the Energy sector; Focus on Mining Sector;
- Identify and priorities opportunities by client, industry, and geography; Client visits;
- Establish and maintain a focus on development of new business opportunities in the Mining Sector including customer proximity, relationship and market connections;
- Meet with existing clients in the assigned region per agreed business plan;
- Market & Competitor intelligence;
Experience and Requirements:
- A Mining, Civil or Mechanical Engineering background and qualification is essential.
- Previous experience (>8 years) working for Mining Operators, EPC Contractors or Consultancy Companies for Mining Projects would be fundamental.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English, and Spanish is essential.
- Basic knowledge of the International Mining and Energy market is a plus.
- Strong business attitude, getting things done Outstanding and teamplayer capability;
- Excellent negotiating, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Selfmotivated, proactive and openminded personality
- Creativity, curiosity and openminded approach.
- Demonstrate a trackrecord of cultivating relationships with clients at every level of the organization
- Experience of preparing quotations, prequalifications and tenders including success with writing, appraising and negotiating detailed contracts and commercial Agreements;
