Now we are looking for this position**:Lipton Business Development Manager**
**Main Purpose**
The role of the Development Manager is to drive JV growth agenda in LAB Center by a) focusing on unlocking key barriers to deliver top and bottom line targets and b) identifying market to launch our portfolio. Thus, key priority is to transform our portfolio to become “Stronger” and unleash long-term sustainable growth.
**Accountabilities**
The role leads the business development activities across the region. Specifically:
- Manage the relationship with Bottlers and PepsiCo franchise team, in order to capture the whole business potential for Lipton brand.
- Understand Bottler’s portfolio strategy and provide Lipton with a unique and relevant role.
- Connect and engage with Bottlers to ensure aligned plans with local commercial regions
- Leverage franchise resources across the region to maximize focus and support behind the Lipton brand.
- Efficient use and tracking of monetary resources available (Coop, A&M, etc.) to develop the brand and maximize Lipton demand within each market.
- Provide the system (Bottler, franchise) with the necessary ammunition in innovation, advertising and marketing for the proper development of the brand.
- Ensure the development of the brand within the guard rails set globally and adapted for local relevance.
- Ensure that Lipton has an attractive economic proposition for the entire system (JV, Franchise, Bottler).
- Develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Lead and support local teams in the execution of the AOP and delivery of key brand & financials goals
- Lead the commercial agenda for the JV with Bottlers and leveraging the PepsiCo team (Franchise operations). Negotiate price & EBA terms, secure alignment.
- Own & manage Lipton concentrate P&Ls
- Lead joint planning & processes with Bottlers around Strategic Plan, AOP and Push/Pull calendars
- With support of Regional Marketing Director, guide Bottlers in development of operational brand plans
- Ensure alignment on the Lipton strategies, AOP and P&L with the PI system and manage the co-ownership of the P&L with Bottlers and Franchise/GMs.
- Lead the development of and align the commercial business case for Simply and future innovations.

- Strong strategic thinker, with business acumen and discipline to focus on the right priorities.
- Deep rooted understanding of beverage industry, total system & bottler economics
- Experienced in managing P&L
- Significant depth on Brand Management (particularly NCB), Consumer Insights and Channel marketing with breadth in Customer marketing, Finance and Operations
- Demonstrated ability to turn marketing strategies into winning operational plans
- Proven ability to manage a matrix organization (cross-functional / cross-border) with multiple levels of alignment within the PepsiCo system, Unilever system and with the joint venture Board of Directors
- Excellent communication, alignment and influencing skills

- Excellent leadership & people management skills able to identify, gain trust & engage with key stakeholders to navigate in a larger system
- High level E.I and ability to build strong relationships with, and manage culturally diverse groups of people from two distinctive corporate cultures (Unilever & PepsiCo) in addition to the Bottler’s.
