**Position Details**
Position Name: Elementary School Learning Facilitator (Tech)
Reports to: Elementary School Principal
Time commitment: Full-time

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Technology Lab Assistant to join our elementary school
team. This position focuses on two primary roles: supervising and managing our Maker Space and
have a passion for technology, a heart for children, and a desire to collaborate with staff to foster a
hands-on, innovative learning environment.

**Preferred Qualifications and Experiences**
Experience working in an educational setting, preferably in an elementary school.
- High proficiency in English and Spanish

**Skills**
Knowledge of Maker Space tools, equipment, and materials.
- Knowledge of Information technology platforms such as: Google workspace, Windows, Mac
- & Android endpoints.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and staff.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
**1. Supervise and Manage Maker Space**:

- Oversee daily operations of the Maker Space, ensuring a safe and organized

environment for students.
- Guide and assist students in using Maker Space tools, materials, and technology for

various projects.
- Maintain and manage inventory of materials and equipment, including ordering

supplies as needed.
- Enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure learning space for all users.

**2. Assist with Technology Integration**:
Assist curriculum coordinators and tech integrationist by working to operationalize
- designed curriculum.
- Prepare and organize project materials in advance, ensuring they are ready for
- classroom use.
- Offer guidance and assistance in setting up and facilitating technology-based
- projects within the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure alignment between Maker Space activities and

classroom goals.
