En GSK buscamos un/una Oncology Patient Advocacy Manager para fortalecer nuestra estrategia de defensa del paciente dentro del área de Oncología. Este rol será responsable de integrar la voz del paciente en la toma de decisiones estratégicas de la organización, asegurando que las necesidades de quienes viven con cáncer de ovario, cáncer de endometrio, mielofibrosis y mieloma múltiple se reflejen en todas las iniciativas relevantes.

La posición liderará el relacionamiento con asociaciones de pacientes, ONGs y grupos comunitarios, impulsando proyectos que mejoren la experiencia del paciente, promuevan la equidad en el acceso y contribuyan a la educación y concientización. Trabajará de manera altamente transversal con Acceso, Médico, Legal, Compliance y Marketing, garantizando el cumplimiento de los más altos estándares éticos y regulatorios. Además, anticipará tendencias del entorno regulatorio, sanitario y social para identificar riesgos y oportunidades que generen impacto positivo en la comunidad oncológica.

Responsabilidades Principales (Key Responsibilities)

  • Diseñar e implementar la estrategia de Patient Advocacy en Oncología, alineada con los objetivos de GSK y las políticas globales de la organización.
  • Desarrollar relaciones de confianza con asociaciones de pacientes, ONGs, líderes comunitarios y sociedades científicas vinculadas a las patologías objetivo.
  • Identificar barreras de acceso y necesidades no cubiertas dentro del journey del paciente, proponiendo soluciones en colaboración con stakeholders internos y externos.
  • Liderar iniciativas de educación y concientización para pacientes y cuidadores, asegurando que la información entregada sea clara, equilibrada, ética y alineada a las normativas vigentes.
  • Colaborar estrechamente con equipos internos (Acceso, Médico, Legal, Compliance, Marketing) para asegurar que cada actividad cumpla con las políticas internas y regulaciones aplicables.
  • Monitorear el entorno regulatorio y social, anticipando tendencias, oportunidades y riesgos relevantes para el trabajo de defensa del paciente en oncología.

Calificaciones y Requisitos (Qualifications)

  • Formación técnica o universitaria, idealmente en ciencias de la salud, ciencias sociales, comunicaciones, relaciones públicas o áreas afines.
  • Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en Patient Advocacy, acceso, asuntos públicos o roles similares dentro de la industria farmacéutica, preferiblemente en oncología.
  • Experiencia directa trabajando con asociaciones de pacientes y en el desarrollo de programas de educación o acompañamiento.
  • Sólido entendimiento de regulaciones, compliance y políticas que aplican a interacciones con pacientes y organizaciones civiles.
  • Capacidad de relacionamiento, con habilidad para trabajar de forma autónoma, transversal, liderar sin autoridad formal y construir consensos.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita, incluyendo storytelling ético y capacidad para generar mensajes centrados en el paciente.
  • Inglés avanzado (oral y escrito)
