As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for leading the monthly payroll process, maintaining labor documents and human resources software, and serving as a trusted advisor to our Country Director and local senior managers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the monthly payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payment of staff.
- Maintain up-to-date labor documents and human resources software, both locally and internationally.
- Collaborate with the Regional Human Resources Business Partner to provide guidance and support to the Country Director and local senior managers on human resources matters.
- Oversee all local recruitment processes in Chile, including contract development and onboarding of new staff.
- Develop and implement safety and security procedures for TechnoServe Chile, ensuring compliance with local labor law and TechnoServe policies.
- Ensure all employment contracts are compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local legal counsel and other stakeholders.
- Lead local ethics and conflict-of-interest investigations, under the guidance of the Human Resources Business Partner.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of experience in a relevant field related to Human Resources.
- Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA in HRM preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Active listening skills.
- Confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Chile labor law.
- Experience managing payroll calculations, labor contracts, terminations, and other similar tasks in Chile.
