We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to become a vital part of our organization.
In this role, you will report to the Finance Director and will be tasked with guiding businesses on optimal pricing for their offerings to meet financial objectives. This includes formulating effective pricing strategies, analyzing market dynamics, and conducting financial evaluations. You will keep a close watch on market fluctuations and collaborate with colleagues to monitor cost changes. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and reporting on pricing effectiveness and market competitiveness. Your role will also involve assessing price modification requests from the sales team by analyzing margin implications, potential sales volume, and competitor pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine pricing tools and profitability models Track changes in input costs and create sensitivity analysis thresholds for reporting on potential adjustments to final prices Present pricing insights at monthly strategy meetings, offering analysis, trends, and recommendations Lead projects related to pricing, including setting timelines, defining deliverables, and preparing communications or presentations Continuously evaluate the market and competitors to reassess pricing strategies Establish a policy for special projects, creating fixed guidelines for pricing in competitive market scenarios Experiment with various price points to penetrate new markets or enhance product offerings with consumer-focused benefits Assess sales quotations to derive P&L results that support management decisions Ensure timely submission of all sales orders to allow adequate analysis time in accordance with company policies Implement controls in pricing analysis to ensure sales maintain profitability as projected Collaborate daily with the Commercial team to prevent delays in sales orders related to pricing approvals Anticipate potential impacts and communicate findings to local managementDesired Qualifications:
