Job Title: District Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The District Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for leading the District Sales Program and driving sales growth within the district. This position requires a strong leader who can develop and execute a sales strategy, manage a team of sales executives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth within the district
  • Lead and manage a team of sales executives to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and geo leaders, to develop and execute sales initiatives
  • Assess market trends and communicate them to district and regional leadership teams
  • Develop and maintain effective marketing approaches aligned with company branding guidelines
  • Manage the sales department budget and ensure effective resource allocation
  • Facilitate weekly sales meetings for sales, product, and geo communication and collaboration
  • Review and coach sales team members to ensure they meet expectations

Requirements:

  • 5 years of management experience in sales, leading a team of 3 or more
  • Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi)
  • Align with Expeditors' 10 Culture Attributes
  • Ability to perform and meet KPI requirements
  • Contract negotiations experience
  • Structured and organized
  • Effective at delegating
  • Charismatic with an ability to connect
  • Ability to understand local market and key industries present in the local market
