Job Summary

We are seeking experts who have experience writing code, possess excellent consulting skills, can consistently delight our clients, and can help us grow a world-class consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions, including architectural system design.
  • Facilitate client discussions to discover key business and technical requirements, and develop implementation plans based on the identified requirements.
  • Provide experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to clients based on established best practices.
  • Support the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for clients.
  • Handle client engagements as a project manager, responsible for scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the client relationship.
  • Advise on internal tools and processes as a senior member of the technical team.
  • Promote yourself as a subject matter expert and valued member of the community.
  • Assist with proposal development and statement of work definitions.
  • Engage with potential clients on sales calls as a technical resource, advising on product solutions.
  • Mentor the technical consulting team and onboard new team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related technical disciplines.
  • At least 3-5 years as a technical consultant or systems administrator, combined with a solid background in service design and delivery with some business analysis experience.
  • A successful history in client engagement and demonstrated exceptional consulting and influencing skills (including at C-level).
  • Proven track record in implementing solutions, including installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to take a holistic view across a range of domains.
  • Demonstrated expertise in undertaking analysis, evaluation, and translation of client requirements and feeding into solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including workshop facilitation, written, and verbal communication.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Enjoys mentoring new consultants on technical and soft skills that are part of the consultant's toolkit.
  • Strong knowledge of software products, both in terms of application-side and administration of the various platforms.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc.).
  • Skilled with Unix/Linux command line.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • An understanding of web application architecture.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM principles.
  • Experienced in UAT testing and test use-case development.
  • Understanding and experience with integration scenarios with tools like CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and others.
  • Hands-on admin-level experience with Atlassian platform products: JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Cloud, Crowd, Access, Portfolio, and others is a plus.
