We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Solutions Architects team, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and driving thought leadership in the cloud computing space.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Support: Work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.

- Technical Content Creation: Create and capture best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).
- Technical Evangelism: Evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g., workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences).
- Team Growth and Development: Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
- Technical Domain Expertise: Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.

RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with:
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, in technical and business settings (verbal and written)
We also welcome candidates with:
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- Experience working with end-user or developer communities
