Role Purpose

As an Index Sales Manager, your role will be focused on the promotion of FTSE Russell´s multi-asset class indexes, analytics and data solutions to help leading asset managers and investment banks in Latin America create world-class, index-based investment solutions, including ETFs, mutual funds and structured products.

You will also be responsible for building and maintain relationships with key influencers in the pension fund and investment consultant market in order to increase the awareness, education and adoption of indexing.

Role Overview:

- Market research, analysis and prospecting for new clients.
- Achieve revenue goals through account planning, plan implementation and plan management.
- Maintain accurate pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of our products, packaging and pricing.
- Develop deep understanding of the landscape and competition.
- Market products to multiple points of contact within accounts and prospective accounts

Qualifications/Skills:

- Fluency in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a differentiator.
- Degree in finance, economics, engineering or industry qualifications such as CFA is preferred, but open to other qualifications.
Strong interest in developing a sales career within the rapidly growing index and ETF industry.
- Academic or proven working experience with analytics using mathematics, modern portfolio theory, and/or financial data to better understand investment portfolios is preferred.
- Good understanding of the investments market trends.
- World class selling skills: identify, develop, & articulate consultative selling as a “hunter”
- Strong sales ‘closer’.
- Able to work in an entrepreneurial environment: proactive and self-starter, adept at working both independently and in a team environment
