Vice President, Partners and Growth Marketing

**Job Description**:
- Bloom faces an unprecedented opportunity to change the way businesses and communities utilize energy. We are looking for a VP, Partners and Growth Marketing to join our team in one of today’s most exciting industries, clean and resilient energy. This position will have responsibility for developing a comprehensive partner ecosystem and set of market growth strategies to help Bloom Energy successfully accelerate its business globally. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company direction and overall industry.
- Role and Responsibilities:
- Be the leader and evangelist for driving a partnership ecosystem strategy and approach within Bloom to accelerate the company’s growth
- Ability to drive business model innovation through partnerships, marketing strategies, and new markets/verticals.
- Marketing growth strategy - create and drive marketing strategies to open new business opportunities, generate focused leads, and accelerate the sales process. Oversee campaigns, vertical plans, and lead generation. Coordinating closely with Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales.
- Oversee the market intelligence team that tracks market data, competitive intelligence, and utility rates
- Focus on unlocking large strategic partnering deals. Will structure deal transactions in the ways that will protect, promote, and enable the company’s best interests and profits
- Assess markets with varied data sets. Understand market dynamics well enough to prioritize geographies, partnerships, and business models
- Expertise negotiating complex agreements across multiple domains
- Strong analytical and communications skills - able to develop partnership discussions and quickly determine which partners are long-term strategic options and identify which aren’t
- Successfully partner with Sales, Business Development, and Executive teams to develop senior relationships with key partners.
- Strong leadership capabilities to successfully work cross functionally and collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to operate successfully at the C-Level of any size entity
- Work closely with other business development leaders (International, Biogas, Hydrogen), Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, Sales and Engineering to prioritize and build the partnerships that win
- Skills and Experience:
- 20+ years of market and/or business development experience
- Knowledge in power systems and energy market with immediate ability to map the value chain and ecosystem of clients, partners & competitors
- Established relationships across the energy sector
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills
- Ability to evaluate market potential and lead strategies to penetrate verticals and markets
- Direct experience negotiating partner agreements
- Entrepreneurial bent - ability to plan, build, and cultivate a new program or GTM strategy
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- A willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed
- Bachelor degree required in any of the following engineering, business management, economics, and technology, MBA and/or Doctorate is preferred.
