The Vice President of Resort Lifestyle Brand is a National role reporting into the Florida Area President. As Vice President of Resort Lifestyle Brand working for Taylor Morrison the focus of this job is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. Job Details
We trust that as Vice President of Resort Lifestyle Brand you will: (responsibilities)
- Provide leadership, establish strategic direction and drive operations to exceed objectives
- Strategically plan to ensure the growth of Resort Lifestyle brand nationally. Focusing on consistent repeatable, operations throughout the company that maximize profitability, ensure forecasting accuracy and lead to superior customer experience
- Identify and enlist internal and external team members to support the initiatives below:
- Identify and document challenges experienced in current Resort Lifestyle communities
- Document brand guidelines and tenets in order to establish non-negotiable Esplanade branded community guidelines
- Finalize the Resort Lifestyle Brand playbook including community sales start-up process and community turnover process
- Create and implement Resort Lifestyle Brand land acquisition underwriting guidelines and specific PIC process
- Create and implement Resort Lifestyle sales, construction, and warranty training
- Document existing and create new Resort Lifestyle programming
- Develop Resort Lifestyle plan library by geographic region
- Develop Resort Lifestyle amenity plan library by geographic region, ( small, medium, large concept)
- Create a process for change (decision matrix) for Resort Lifestyle Playbook
- Determine how to staff/resource the Resort Lifestyle program to provide necessary support future growth
- Ensure all operations are in compliance with all policies of the Company and enforce all standards set for performance
- Recruits, hires, and manages personnel and ensures the organizational structure is appropriate to support current and future operations
- Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development to keep current in latest issues related to industry
- Capable of conducting product and market analysis. Familiar with lot and land acquisition. Good understanding of sales, pricing strategies and cash flow

About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Construction Management
- At least 10 years production homebuilding experience and in a senior management role
- Ability to anticipate possible obstacles and propose favorable solutions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to implementation and execution
- Concise writing and public speaking/presentation skills are desirable for reporting to the management team
- Ability to read improvement plans, formulate budgets and understand accounting principles
