SALES CONSULTANT - REMOTE FLORIDA
Sales Consultant
The Sales Consultant - Integrator is responsible for driving growth and ensuring Integrator satisfaction, adoption, and loyalty for the Allegion portfolio of security solutions and services. This role will focus on the multi-family and light commercial markets. This role is responsible for championing the Allegion experience and facilitating the change process with key aftermarket influencers to demonstrate efficiency and improved business results through their partnership with Allegion. The primary responsibility includes making direct calls on the following decision makers or influencers: integrators, property managers, developers, and owners. The position will also require aligning other Allegion partners and resources to ensure project delivery and maximum customer experience.
What You Will Do:
- Develop targeted regional/local integrator accounts and implement account plans to grow discretionary business.- Partner with integrator on identifying new avenues for increased revenues and margin
- Execute strategic selling capabilities within integrator (Owner, Operations, Sales). This is inclusive of leading dialogue and training.
- Proactively network through industry events, associations and shows to develop and broaden influencer and end user relationships.
- Ensure selling strategies align with market needs as well as model the customer experience Allegion differentiates itself upon
- Coordinate and collaborate business development with other Allegion channel partners, including software alliance members (SAM) and wholesalers.
- Collaborate with other team members to identity and deliver leads to integrator partners for growth. Develops these leads through collaboration and use of Allegion Security Integrator Member program.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers (including sales, marketing, engineering, customer, technical services, and operations). Provide market intelligence, product and solution input and feedback, and necessary recommendations to marketing teams.
- Maintain and utilize CRM tool for sales reporting and to communicate sales activities.
- Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
What You Need to Succeed:
- 2-3 years sales experience; preferably in the security space
- 50% or more travel
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Ability to gain understanding of all system components to develop solutions
- Ability to learn industry specific software, and proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
