Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Risk Management Coordinator to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Santiago.

PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems.

Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

We manage our clients' entire project lifecycle from studies to building assets, operating the assets, and developing efficiencies. Join our team and become part of a community that strives for positive change-providing the best solutions for our clients' toughest challenges

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assist in the planning and facilitation of engagement risk workshop and hazard studies (e.g. HAZAN, HAZOPs)
  • Provide support in developing risk analysis reports or workshop results
  • Provide support in Monte Carlo analysis
  • Assist in engagements risk planning and configure engagements in iPas RM
  • Hatch's risk management system
  • Maintain the engagement risk register in iPas RM; ensure all risks are appropriately and accurately documented; ensure the quality and integrity of risk data
  • Assist with the development of risk management procedure and functional guides; offers.
  • Tracks metrics to demonstrate a cultural acceptance of risk management throughout the region

Key required qualifications and experience:

  • An Industrial Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering degree in a traditional discipline from a recognized university.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Similar skills in language such as Portuguese is desirable.
  • Skilled in the production of reports and presentations.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, to be resourceful and to use time as a resource routine requirement to work to deadlines imposed by client which might require completion of unplanned risk management activities in a short time frame.
  • Ability to travel to other Hatch offices, or project sites as required.
The position is to work in our offices in Santiago de Chile.
