As the Digital Factory Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the daily organization and management of the Digital Factory and its teams.
The Digital Factory (DF) is BHP's approach to rapid design and development of digital products (software-focused, mínimal or no hardware) that provide solutions to operational challenges that are currently being addressed through manual methods.
The work:
The DF Coordinator will be integral in the coordination of the factory ways of working, including factory routines, processes, best practices, and being a key interface with other DFs They are an organised and diligent worker with excellent time-management and communications skills, and in-depth knowledge of BHP systems and structure.
Key accountabilities include:
- Coordination of the ways of working between different areas in the Digital Factory.
- Crosspollination of best practices across different teams.
- Communicates the new ways of working with groups outside of the Digital Factory
- Facilitates crossteam meetings and helps teams find innovative ways of resolving current issues.
- Facilitate discussion leading to collective decisionmaking, goal setting and conflict resolution across the Digital Factory and product teams.
- Promoting reuse of content and simplification of administrative workload within the factory.
- Setting up and organizing core Factory routines and processes (e.g. showcases, development meetings, problem solving, senior leadership meetings etc.) and assisting with preparation and content development
- Coordinating and managing preparation for Factory level quarterly planning
- Managing internal and external Factory communications and engagement initiatives
- Supporting OCM activities and stakeholder management within the Factory
About You:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in the organization
- Indepth knowledge of BHP systems
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Excellent multitasker, ability to operate at a fast pace, changing environment
- Exceptionally organizational skills both self and team
- Ability to lead and guide others, and rapidly learn new things on the job
- Impeccable timemanagement and ability to prioritize
- Exercises patience when managing others
- Positive team player who is respectful and empathetic
- Service role background preferred (e.g. business analyst, administration, coordination etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Intermediate level of English
